John can help individuals, directors, producers and advertisers figure out what to do when principal or background talent are missing fluidity, It Factor and  “meow.”

Experience

John Clayton Doyle is a vanguard freestyle dancer. Through his dynamic experience in front of and behind the camera, he has developed unique tools to help filmmakers and advertisers authentically incorporate the joy of movement into their projects, including choreography as well as experimental and pedestrian movement. He coaches models and actors embody physical traits for upcoming roles, and help live performers develop a unique movement language. Having worked with all ages and abilities, he is particularly gifted at bridging the space between professional performers and “real people.” 

John’s movement work has been presented at Parque Lage (Brazil), MassMoCa, The Brooklyn Museum, Alvin Ailey Citibank Theater, Joe’s Pub, Clemente Soto Velez, and informally shown at many nightclubs around the world. 

John Clayton had a lead role in the much adored feature length dance film “Girl Walk / All Day,” which screened at SXSW in 2012; New York Times: "undeniably exhilarating."
